Does democracy mean inaccessible politicians that our parents happened to vote for but whose name we googled yesterday? Or does it start here--this laptop in front of us. This website. This question we are asking ourselves.

We at Youvacracy aim to redefine democracy itself.

Our Democracy Lab is Asia's first ever youth led social justice lab focusing on brining research, education, innovation and policy together.

It is a testament to the fact that democracy is not a stand alone cause. Instead, it is an intersectional issue. Democracy cannot work without climate justice, communal harmony or the abolition of caste.

Rebuilding Lives: Welfare Schemes Project in Mehrauli

At the Office of MLA Naresh Yadav, we led a student team to implement widow, disability, and elderly pension schemes for 1,500+ low-income residents in Delhi (earning <$700 annually). We managed government documentation, secured lifetime pensions with immediate deposits, and worked closely with the MLA to support the Mehrauli community of 200,000+ residents.
